ModeratPers – Ajang demokrasi Pemilihan Umum Raya (PEMIRA) Mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asyar’i (UNHASY) akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 & 13 Desember 2023. Para calon ketua organisasi mahasiswa (Ormawa) telah bersiap untuk beradu visi dan misi mereka untuk kemajuan kampus.
Pada pencalonan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) tingkat Universitas, terdapat 2 pasangan calon yang maju dalam ajang PEMIRA pada tahun ini.
Paslon nomor urut 1 yakni M. Tajus Syarof dari jurusan Hukum Keluarga berpasangan dengan Rian Adam dari Teknik Mesin. Sedangkan untuk paslon nomor urut 2 yakni Tegar Wangsit Prabowo dari jurusan teknik mesin didampingi wakilnya Doni Putra Haris dari Pendidikan Agama Islam.
Pada acara debat yang diselenggarakan pada Minggu (10/12) di lobby kampus B UNHASY, kedua paslon saling beradu visi dan misi mereka dihadapan para mahasiswa.
Paslon nomor urut satu memiliki visi “Terwujudnya Revolusi mahasiswa yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai Religius, Intelektualis, dan Humanis”. Dari visi tersebut pasangan Tajus – Adam ini memiliki empat misi yaitu :
- Penguatan nilai Religius dalam internal Universitas.
- Peningkatan sinergitas antar elemen mahasiswa.
- Pengoptimalan peran mahasiswa dalan menjunjung budaya prestasi, guna menopang akreditasi kampus.
- Pengimplementasian SIMKATMAWA dalam internal universitas.
Dalam orasinya, Tajus mengatakan bahwa ia memiliki keyakinan kuat untuk maju menjadi calon ketua BEM karena ia telah mempersiapkan semua dengan matang berbekal pengalaman dari periode sebelumnya. Selain itu, Tajus mengatakan bahwa akan memberi inovasi untuk menghidupkan kembali Organisasi mahasiswa di UNHASY yang redup akibat pandemi.
“Sudah saya siapkan dengan matang untuk menahkodai organisasi di ranah UNHASY ini dan seorang pemimpin itu ialah yang melayani rakyatnya.”, ujar Tajus, yang pernah menjabat sebagai wakil ketua BEM UNHASY periode lalu.
Sedangkan untuk paslon nomor urut 2, mereka memiliki visi “Menuju Unhasy yang transformatif, solutif, dan inovatif demi terwujudnya UNHASY yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing”. Dari visi tersebut pasangan Tegar – Doni memiliki empat misi yaitu :
- Membangun sinergitas dengan setiap ormawa dan lembaga berlandaskan solidaritas dan bernafaskan profesionalisme.
- Menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang interaktif dan komunikatif bagi mahasiswa.
- Memfasilitasi dan mengakomodasi serta mengembangkan minat, bakat dan pembinaan yang apresiatif dengan menciptakan hubungan kolaboratif antar Ormawa dan lembaga untuk meningkatkan prestasi.
- Menyelenggarakan dan mengembangkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam setiap bidang yang berlatar nasional dan internasional..
Lebih lanjut, dalam orasinya paslon nomor urut 2 mengatakan bahwa mereka akan Mengoptimalkan fungsi BEM-U dengan semestinya dan memberikan ruang dialektika bagi mahasiswa. Selain itu ia juga menyakinkan mahasiswa UNHASY bahwasanya ia dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan wawasan dan pengetahuan yang dimilikinya.
“Saya dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan menyediakan wawasan, strategi dan pengetahuan untuk dapat diterapkan”, jelasnya.
