Moderatpers.com – Civitas akademika Unhasy lakukan tahlil dan do’a bersama dalam rangka haul ke-2 Dr. (HC) Ir. KH. Salahuddin Wahid (Gus Sholah) pada Rabu, (02/02). Acara tersebut di pelopori oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (BEM-U).
Mengusung tema “Refleksi Kepemimpinan dan Perjuangan Gus Sholah”, acara diselenggarakan secara hybrid (online dan offline). Siaran langsung dilakukan melalui akun Instagram @bemunhasy, serta di hadiri puluhan dosen dan mahasiswa di aula lantai 3 gedung A.
Acara tahlil dan do’a tersebut dimulai pukul 09.00 s/d pukul 10.30 WIB dan dipimpin langsung oleh KH. Mustaqim Askan. Semasa hidup, Gus Sholah yang merupakan rektor Unhasy sekaligus pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng (2006-2020) meninggalkan banyak kenangan, pembelajaran, dan ketauladanan di mata para santri dan rekan kerjanya.
“Mengenang Kiai Sholah, beliau luar biasa. Di mata saya, Kiai Sholah itu pribadi yang khusyuk, terutama ketika beliau berdo’a. Jarang saya temui beliau tidak menangis ketika berdo’a,” kata Ahmad Roziqi, Lc.M. H.I (santri Gus Sholah dan dosen Unhasy) saat mengisi mau’idhotul hasanah.

Dalam ceramahnya, ustadz Roziqi (sapaan akrabnya) menyampaikan juga bahwa Gus Sholah adalah sosok yang selalu di percaya oleh orang-orang. Hal itu nampak dari kepribadiannya yang baik, tutur kata yang sopan, jujur, pemaaf, dan saleh.
Perjuangan Salahuddin Wahid dalam membangun Tebuireng dan Unhasy juga masih dapat dirasakan hingga kini. Salah satu buktinya ialah dapat mengganti IKAHA (Institut Keislaman Hasyim Asy’ari) menjadi Unhasy, yang kini menjadi universitas dengan mahasiswa terbanyak se-Kebupaten Jombang. Tak hanya itu, Pesantren Tebuireng pun kini berjumlah 15 cabang, dan tersebar di seluruh Indonesia.
Namun demikian, adik Gus Dur itu selalu memberikan pesan kepada para santrinya, bahwa sebesar apapun pencapain yang telah diperoleh, jangan sampai melupakan perjuangan guru-guru terdahulunya.
“Salah satu nasihat penting Gus Sholah yakni jangan pernah lupa pada para kiai pendahulu kita. Oleh karena itu, banyak buku-buku yang ditulis tentang kiprah para Kiai,” tutup ustadz Roziqi di akhir ceramahnya.
