Moderatper.com – Tak terasa, umat muslim telah berada dalam bulan Ramadan kembali, bahkan sudah memasuki hari ke 9. Dalam bulan suci ini terdapat banyak keistimewaan yang membedakannya dengan bulan-bulan lainnya.
Allah mengistimewakan kedudukan bulan Ramadan diantara bulan-bulan lainnya, layaknya kedudukan bulan purnama diantara ribuan bintang dilangit malam yang gelap. Bahkan, hanya dengan bergembira akan hadirnya saja dijanjikan bahwa kelak tak akan tersentuh api neraka.
Bulan ramadan adalah bulan yang di dalamnya Allah turunkan kemuliaan berupa ayat-ayat-Nya, yakni Al-Qur’an. Siapun yang memahami keistimewaan ini, maka dia akan mengisi ramadan dengan tilawah Qur’an atau yang sering kita kenal dengan tadarusan.
Allah SWT berfirman,”Bulan Ramadhan adalah (bulan) yang di dalamnya diturunkan Al Qur’an, sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia dan penjelasan-penjelasan petunjuk tersebut dan pembeda (antara yang benar dan yang batil)”. (QS. Al-Baqarah: 185).
Dalam bulan Ramadan pula, Allah memilih untuk meletakkan salah satu kewajiban dari rukun Islam yang lima, yaitu berpuasa. Orang-orang yang berpuasa pada bulan ini akan mendapat keistimewaan dari Allah SWT berupa ampunan atas dosa-dosa yang dimiliki. Sehingga Ramadan juga istimewa karena menjadi momen yang paling baik untuk penghapusan dosa atau bertobat. Pada suatu hadis dijelaskan :
“Islam dibangun atas lima (rukun); bersaksi bahwa tiada Tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Allah, dan sesungguhnya Muhammad adalah hamba dan utusan-Nya, mendirikan salat, menunaikan zakat, berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan, dan haji ke Baitullah.” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim).

Jika berpuasa di bulan ini, tidak hanya menggugurkan kewajiban, tetapi juga dilipatgandakan layaknya berpuasa selama setahun penuh. Imam Ahmad meriwayatkan, bahwasanya Nabi SAW bersabda :
“Siapa yang berpuasa pada bulan Ramadan, maka satu bulan sama seperti sepuhu bulan. Dan siapa yang berpuasa setelah itu, berpuasa selama enam hari sesudah Id (Syawawl), hal itu sama nilainya dengan puasa sepurna satu tahun.” (HR. Ahmad).
Keistimewaan Ramadan lainnya berupa terdapatnya lailatul qadar, yakni malam 10 hari terakhir pada malam-malam ganjil di akhir bulan Ramadan. Malam ini bernilai lebih baik dari pada seribu bulan. Dimana ketika seseorang melakukan satu ibadah yang bertepatan dengan malam itu, maka akan dinilai dengan seribu pahala.
“Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkannya (Al Qur’an) pada malam qadar. Dan tahukah kamu apakah malam kemuliaan itu? Malam kemuliaan itu lebih baik daripada seribu bulan. Pada malam itu turun para malaikat dan Ruh (Jibril) dengan izin Tuhannya untuk mengatur semua urusan. Sejahteralah (malam itu) sampai terbit fajar.” (QS. Al Qadr ayat 1-5)
Dengan keistimewaannya yang terlampau banyak di atas, maka bukankah seharusnya kita menyadari dan mensyukuri bahwa masih dibertemukan kembali dengan bulan ramadan ini. Alangkah istimewa lagi jika kita bisa menjalani bulan ini dan meraih berkahnya dengan memaksimal ibadah, agar kita juga menjadi orang yang istimewa diantara manusia lainnya.
