Moderatpers.com – Nadlifah Rizki utami, M. Pd, owner MS GLOW Store Jombang yang merupakan salah satu alumni Unhasy berbagi kisahnya menjadi seorang pengusaha.
Pengalamannya itu ia ceritakan ketika menjadi salah satu pemateri pada webinar nasional yang diadakan oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam (BEM FAI).
Webinar beratajuk “Dari Pada Anda Jadi Sandwich Generation, Mari Kita Berenterpreneurship” itu dilakukan via zoom teleconference meeting dan disiarkan langsung melalui kanal youtube BEM FAI pada Jumat, (19/11).
Nadlifah mengaku telah menanamkan jiwa entrepreneurship sejak di bangku perkuliahan S1 Unhasy.
Ia pun memaparkan pengalamannya dari awal merintis bisnis hingga kini telah menjadi businesswoman sukses. Menjadi seorang businesswoman tentunya banyak suka dan duka yang dilewati.
Apalagi steorotip masyarakat soal wanita yang kiprahnya harus dibatasi. Namun, ia mampu mengubah steorotip tersebut menjadi sebuah opportunity.
“Dulu saya mondok di PP. Walisongo, saya berfikir bagaimana caranya agar bisa memanfatkan lingkungan. Disini sudah ada orang, bagaimana saya bisa memanfaatkan itu menjadi peluang bisnis yang dapat menghasilkan pendapatan,” tuturnya di awal acara.

Ia pun kemudian menjual beberapa pakaian yang sesuai dengan fashion di lingkungan pondok dan kampus. Berangkat dari situlah, yang kemudian menjadi awal ketertarikannya menjadi seorang pengusaha.
Kemudian seiring berjalannya waktu, penggunaan kosmetik sudah menyebar dikalangan bangku sekolah dan kuliah. Banyaknya pengguna kosmetik sejak di bangku SMA, menjadi ide untuk memulai bisnis lain di bidang kecantikan.
Ia juga menuturkan, bahwa bakat untuk menjadi seorang pengusaha itu harus ditanamkan dan diasah sejak dini. Seorang entrepreneur pun harus menggunakan waktu dengan sebaik mungkin dan terus meningkatkan usaha yang digeluti.

Dari pengelaman itulah, fenomena sandwich generation yang menjadi momok dan keresahan masyarakat pada masyarakat bisa teratasi.
Meskipun istilah sandwich generation belum cukup familiar pada telinga masyarakat umum, istilah ini tentunya tidak asing di kalangan generasi milenial dan akademisi.
Sandwich generation merupakan sebutan yang diberikan kepada individu yang harus mencukupi kebutuhan ekonomi banyak pihak dalam waktu bersamaan. Mencakup diri sendiri, keluarga inti, bahkan orang tua.
Fenomena ini melekat pada negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia yang angka penganggurannya yang setiap tahun terus bertambah.
Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya pendidikan serta kesadaran finansial sejak dini dan berpangkunya sebuah keluarga hanya pada satu orang.
Karena telah merintis usaha sejak dini, Nadlifah mengaku dapat menempas fenomena sandwich generation tersebut.
Ia berbagi tips, bahwa untuk menjalankan bisnis agar berkembang lebih baik diperlukan jaringan untuk mengembangkan produk usaha yang dimiliki. Seorang pembisnis harus mempunyai planning yang terarah dan melakukan kerja cerdas.
“Karena menjadi seorang pembisnis kan merupakan pekerjaan yang belum pasti hasilnya. Jadi diperlukan planning yang matang dan terarah untuk menghindari jatuh bangunnya dalam menjalankan bisnis kedepannya,” pungkasnya di akhir acara.
