Moderatpers – Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Pramuka Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY), adakan Pelatihan Pertolongan Pertama Gawat Darurat (PPGD) untuk para Penegak dan Pandega se- kabupaten Jombang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di aula gedung A UNHASY pada Kamis, (09/11).
Acara berlangsung mulai pukul 08.30 sampai 15.30 WIB. Total ada 92 peserta yang hadir mewakili dari 11 sekolah tingkat SMA/MA/SMK dan 1 universitas di Jombang.
Dalam pelatihan ini, UKM Pramuka UNHASY turut mengundang Risky Febrian dari PMI (Palang Merah Indonesia) sebagai pemateri.
Risky memberi edukasi tentang pengertian pertolongan pertama, pengenalan alat dan luka, pembidaian serta pembalutan. Selanjutnya, peserta diajak langsung untuk mempraktekkan materi yang telah diajarkan.
Acara ini sebagai wujud pengamalan ilmu dalam bidang PPGD untuk pramuka penegak & pandega se-Jombang setelah tim UKM Pramuka UNHASY berhasil meraih juara 2 tingkat nasional dalam bidang PPGD.
“Pelatihan ini dalam rangka memberikan kontribusi ilmu dalam bidang pelatihan PPGD, setelah kemarin tim UKM Pramuka Unhasy menyabet juara 2 tingkat nasional dalam bidang PPGD,” kata Nuruddin selaku pembina UKM Pramuka UNHASY.
Diadakannya Pelatihan ini juga bertujuan untuk menggerakkan para pramuka terutama tingkat penegak dan pandega agar mampu mengaplikasikan PPGD ke kehidupan sehari-hari, tidak hanya memahami sebatas teori saja.
“Para pramuka terutama tingkat penegak & pandega agar lebih memahami tentang pertolongan gawat darurat, dan bisa diterapkan sewaktu-waktu jika suatu hal yang tidak inginkan terjadi,” lanjut Nuruddin.
Lebih lanjut, Nuruddin berharap agar para peserta juga dapat mengajarkan ilmu PPGD di pangkalan Gudep (gugus depan) masing-masing.
