Lagi-lagi membicarakan diriku sendiri yang membosankan. Lagi-lagi mencibir diri sendiri. Lagi-lagi berangkat pada tubuh yang setia menemani keanehanku ini.
Kasih, aku beri tahu tentangku yang sebenarnya klise. Mengapa kau? Karena sisa waktuku akan bersamamu.
Aku sudah bertahun-tahun tinggal bersama ketakutan. Aku merawat akar-akar kecewa yang ditutup dengan tanah senyum serta tumbuh kembang tawa. Aku menyimpannya di dalam rumah hingga tidak ada seorangpun yang melihat. Aku pelit menerima tamu, entahlah.
Bagaimana caranya keluar dari itu? Aku bertanya kepadamu seolah kamu memiliki kuncinya. Sedangkan, kita berdua sama-sama tidak tahu. Sudahlah kasih, jangan bicara tentang ada kehidupan dalam diriku. Aku telah melihat mati sepanjang hidupku; dalam diriku.
