Moderatpers-Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Pramuka Unhasy bersama dengan PMB Unhasy untuk pertama kalinya menyelenggarakan Lomba Pramuka Penegak Rendezvous Unhasy 2024 se-Jawa Timur. Acara tersebut berlangsung selama dua hari, yaitu pada Jumat (26/01) hingga Sabtu (27/01) di Lapangan Utama Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari.
Dengan mengusung tema “Pramuka aktif: aksi tangguh dan produktif” kegiatan ini melangsungkan beberapa perlombaan, seperti lomba Pionering, lomba PPGD (Pertolongan Pertama Gawat Darurat), lomba PBB Kreasi, Lomba Tenda Kreasi dan Terbersih serta Sangga Persahabatan dan Teraktif.
Sedikitnya terdapat 240 peserta dari berbagai sekolah di Kabupaten Jombang yang turut berpartisipasi dalam perlombaan tersebut. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bakat dan kreativitas generasi muda serta memperkenalkan Unhasy di kalangan pelajar.
“Sesuai dengan tujuan gerakan pramuka, kegiatan ini diadakan untuk melatih generasi muda agar memaksimalkan setiap potensi yang ada dalam dirinya, baik intelektual, spiritual, sosial, dan fisik. Selain itu juga kegiatan ini dibuat untuk menyiarkan Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari di kalangan pelajar se-Jawa Timur khususnya di Jombang sendiri,” ungkap Oky selaku Ketua Pelaksana sekaligus Ketua UKM Pramuka Unhasy.
Meskipun hujan terlihat beberapa kali mengguyur lokasi perlombaan, beruntungnya kegiatan tetap berjalan dengan lancar. Pada hari pertama, dilakukan upacara api unggun sekaligus upacara pembukaan kegiatan dan pertunjukan pentas seni. Kemudian pada keesokan harinya para peserta menampilkan kebolehannya dalam bidang perlombaan yang diikuti.
Dalam kesempatannya, Rektor Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari, Professor Dr. Haris Supratno menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan seperti ini merupakan sebuah momen penting dan berpotensi untuk ditindaklanjuti. Ia juga mengingatkan agar UKM dapat lebih giat lagi dan terus bergerak aktif kreatif dalam berbagai kegiatan yang membangun karakter.
“Mudah-mudahan kegiatan ini dapat ditindak lanjuti, tidak hanya ini pertama dan terakhir, tapi ada semacam rutinitas setiap tahun. Kami harapkan UKM dapat lebih giat melakukan aktifitas sekaligus menjadi media pembentuk karakter serta menjadi media promosi Unhasy,” terang Rektor yang kerap disapa Prof. Haris tersebut.
