ModeratPers – Mendekati akhir Ramadhan, badan eksekutif mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi (BEM FE) Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) menggelar santunan anak yatim di pantai asuhan Al Hasan Watugaluh pada Kamis (13/04).
Bersama anak – anak yatim, BEM FE UNHASY bermain dan berbagi keseruan bersama. Meskipun sulit dalam pengondisian, seluruh panitia sangat antusias dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini.
“Pada awalnya acara kita buat semi-formal, tapi karena anak-anak sulit dikondisikan jadinya nggak formal, tapi seru melihat mereka ketawa itu bahagianya nular,” Ucap Nafiha, selaku ketua pelaksana saat diwawancarai.
Acara dimulai dengan khotmil Qur’an lalu dilanjutkan dengan pembacaan sholawat dan pembagian takjil kepada anak-anak yatim. Kegiatan ditutup dengan foto bersama.
Sebelum berbuka, panitia sebenarnya telah menyiapkan sesi kultum. Karena pembicara berhalangan, panitia merombak sesi kultum dan diganti dengan kuis bersama para anak yatim.
Shohihah Izza, selaku pengasuh panti asuhan sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan ini. Ia menuturkan, dengan melakukan kegiatan bersama anak yatim akan melatih untuk menumbuhkan rasa empati kepada sesama.
“Kami sangat berterimakasih dengan kedatangan mahasiswa dari UNHASY, dengan membersamai anak-anak disini akan menumbuhkan rasa empati,” kata pengasuh yang akrab disapa bunda Izzah.
Kedatangan mahasiswa dari BEM FE membawa kebahagiaan tersendiri bagi anak-anak yatim. Mereka menganggap siapapun yang datang untuk berbagi di panti asuhan sebagai keluarga sendiri.
Dengan adanya acara santunani ini, anak-anak yatim merasa bahwa ada banyak orang yang peduli dan menyayangi mereka. Hal ini membuat mereka senang dan termotivasi.
Ada sejumlah 109 anak asuh yang ada di panti asuhan Al Hasan. Asrama mereka terbagi menjadi beberapa kelompok sesuai usia.
Mulai dari yang berusia dibawah satu tahun, balita, anak-anak, remaja usia SMP dan SMA, hingga anak yang menempuh jenjang perguruan tinggi.
“Ada beberapa klaster, paling kecil ada yang masih berusia dua bulan, terus ada yang sedang kuliah juga,” kata Bunda Izzah.
Bunda Izza berharap kegiatan santunan ini bisa menjadi ajang silaturahmi. Tak hanya dalam suasana Ramadhan saja tapi juga di waktu-waktu yang lain.
