Hal ini diterangkan oleh kiai Musta’in – sapaan akrabnya saat menjadi pemateri dalam seminar radikalisme – salah satu agenda acara Dies Natalis ke IV Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Unhasy di Aula lantai 3 Gedung A.
Kata “Al aman Qoblal iman” secara bahasa dapat diartikan aman dulu baru iman. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa arti kata ini adalah keamanan dan kedamaian suatu negara adalah hal yang utama dalam meningkatkan iman dan takwa.
“Menjaga keamanan dalam suatu negara adalah hal yang utama dalam meningkatkan keimanan dalam diri seseorang,” kata Kiai Musta’in, Selasa, (28/06)
Penjelasan Kiai Musta’in ini tentu saja mengarah pada Indonesia yang merupakan negara dengan keragaman budaya, suku, dan agama. Sebagai negara yang plural, faham radikalisme sangat bertentangan dengan ideologi yang ada di Indonesia, yakni Pancasila.
Ia pun menyebutkan bahwa aspek kehidupan tidak selalu bersinggungan langsung dengan tuhan. Oleh karena itu, selain menjalin hubungan baik dengan tuhan, kita juga perlu menjalin keharmonisan antar umat beragama.
“Tidak selalu berhubungan langsung dengan tuhan, kehidupan beragama yang harmonis juga harus kita jaga,” terangnya.

Dalam upaya pencegahan masuknya faham radikalisme, masyarakat dituntut untuk memiliki rasa kecintaan yang kuat terhadap tanah air atau nasionalisme. Masyarakat harus memahami bahwa radikalisme adalah faham yang dapat memecah belah umat.
Mencegah faham radikalisme adalah kunci dalam menjaga kedamaian suatu negara. Dengan menjalin hubungan yang harmonis antar umat beragama, menjalankan ibadah akan terasa lebih nyaman dan tenang.
Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa di Indonesia memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mencegah masuknya faham radikalisme ini. Menurut Kiai Musta’in, mahasiswa harus pandai memilah suatu ideologi yang masuk dan dipercayai. Jangan sampai pemahaman yang bersifat radikal langsung diterima mentah – mentah.
