ModeratPers – Jelang Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur’an Mahasiswa Nasional ke – XVII pada bulan November di Universitas Brawijaya Malang, kafilah Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) gelar seleksi internal yang dilaksanakan di aula gedung A pada Selasa (15/8).
Dalam pelaksanaan seleksi, UNHASY bersama Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Unit Pengembangan Tahfidhul Qur’an (UPTQ), Asosiasi Mahasiswa Seni Kaligrafi (AMSYAK), dan Ikatan Mahasiswa Pecinta Sholawat (IMPS) untuk menjaring para calon peserta . Ada sebanyak 35 pendaftar yang mengikuti seleksi tersebut.
Nantinya akan ada 14 dari total 15 cabang lomba yang akan di ikuti oleh mahasiswa. Cabang lomba meliputi Musabaqoh Hifdzil Qur’an (MHQ) 10 – 30 Juz, ¬Tilawah, Tartil, Kaligrafi, Karya tulis ilmiah, dan sebagianya. UNHASY hanya absen di cabang Desain Aplikasi Komputer Al-Qur’an (DAQ).
“Dari total 15 cabang, kita hanya absen di cabang desain aplikasi, nantinya para peserta akan diuji dan dibina langsung oleh pembina yang kompeten di tiap – tiap cabangnya”, Ucap Masrokhin, selaku pimpinan official UNHASY.
Dari total pendaftar yang masuk, ada beberapa cabang yang punya kesempatan untuk lolos secara langsung tanpa seleksi, seperti cabang karya tulis ilmiah Al-Qur’an (KTIA), dan Musabaqoh Fahmil Qiur’an (MFQ). Hal ini dikarenakan minimnya pendaftar di cabang tersebut.
Peserta yang ikut dalam seleksi internal ini tidak hanya mahasiswa yang berasal dari fakultas agama islam (FAI) saja, beberapa peserta juga berasal dari fakultas umum seperti Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) dan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP).
“ Anak PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) hafal Al-Qur’an udah biasa, anak bahasa Arab bisa kaligrafi udah biasa, tapi ini ada prodi umum yang menjadi delegasi, ini sangat luar biasa. Ini sesuai pesan Gus Sholah, apapun prodinya rasa pesantren tetap harus terlihat”, sambung Masrokhin.
Aminuddin Aziz, selaku wakil rektor II UNHASY sangat mendukung dan meng-apresiasi kegiatan ini. Ia berharap dengan adanya kegiatan ini, para mahasiswa dapat meraih pengalaman serta membawa harum nama UNHASY.
“Ini akan menjadi pengalaman untuk mahasiswa dan semoga bisa sukses mengharumkan nama universitas”, Ujar wakil rektor yang akrab disapa Pak Amin.
Rencananya sebelum mengikuti MTQMN di Malang, para peserta terpilih akan mengikuti ajang festival Qur’ani di UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya.
