Moderatpers.com – Senin, (11/04), puluhan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Ikatan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Jombang (IKABEMJO) dari 15 kampus di Jombang, menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan kantor DPRD Jombang.
Tak hanya itu, mahasiswa dan mahasiswi lainnya yang tak tergabung dalam BEM juga ikut menyuarakan suara dan aspirasinya bersama. Saat ditemui di Ringin Contong usai demo, M. Fajar selaku ketua umum IKABEMJO menjelaskan, bahwa seruan aksi ini mengusung empat tuntutan.
Pertama, mereka menuntut DPRD Jombang untuk menyamakan sikap menolak wacana amandemen jabatan presiden 3 periode yang merubah konstitusi; kedua, menolak kenaikan harga BBM; ketiga, mengusut tuntas kekerasan seksual di Kabupaten Jombang; dan keempat perbaikan infrastruktur jalan.
“Yang dua itu isu nasional, yang duanya lagi isu daerah. Kalau kita lihat, di Jombang itu masih banyak jalan berlubang yang tidak segera dibenahi. Bahkan sudah memakan korban. Kekerasan seksual juga sudah merajalela, tapi pemerintah tidak segera turun tangan,” terang Fajar.

Sebelum memutuskan untuk turun ke jalan, para mahasiswa mengaku telah melakukan persiapan dengan melakukan kajian terhadap isu-isu terkait. “Sebelum aksi, IKABEMJO melakukan persiapan berupa kajian. Seperti studi kasus terkait isu kenaikan harga minyak goreng, tiap- tiap kampus dengan presma masing-masing ,” jelas Fajar.
Seruan aksi mahasiswa ini dikatakan murni diadakan oleh IKABEMJO tanpa adanya ikatan dengan BEM SI. Melihat, BEM SI di hampir seluruh daerah yang berpusat di Jakarta, juga menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di hari yang sama. Ahmad Celvin Moniagah, selaku Majelis Presma IKBEMJO menjelaskan, bahwa awalnya ingin mengadakan demo dengan tuntutan masalah lokal saja yang ada di Jombang.
“Sebelumnya kita telah mengkaji tentang masalah lokal yang ada di Jombang, seperti mengenai kasus kekerasan seksual juga perbaikan jalan dan lainnya. Tapi seiring berjalanya waktu, muncul permasalahan dari nasional. Sehingga membuat kita tergerak juga,“ tegasnya.
Mengenai wacana 3 periode jabatan presiden, mengingat wacana ini ditunggangi oleh tiga partai politik besar di dalamnya. Dan para menteri yang berbicara belum juga memberikan keterangan yang sama dengan presiden, membuat mahasiswa terus menuntut untuk segera memberi kejelasan tentang wacana yang menyalahi konstitusi itu.
“Dilihat dari alasan dan kejelasan amandemen 3 periode ini, takutnya apa yang telah ditegaskan Jokowi itu bohong,” imbuh Celvin.
