Moderatpers.com– Bulan Dzulhijjah merupakan salah satu bulan mulia dalam kalender Islam atau kalender Qamariyah/Hijriyah. Salah satu amalan dan sunnah yang dilakukan oleh umat Islam yang tidak melaksanakan Haji adalah menunaikan puasa Tarwiyah pada tanggal 8, dan puasa Arafah pada tanggal 9 Dzulhijjah, yang pada tahun 2021 ini jatuh pada tanggal 18-19 Juli. Puasa Arafah dan Tarwiyah sangat dianjurkan untuk turut merasakan nikmat yang sedang dirasakan oleh para jamaah Haji yang menjalankan ibadah di Tanah Suci.
Adapun anjuran untuk melaksanakan puasa Tarwiyah dan Arafah adalah sebagai berikut :
صوم يوم التروية كفارة سنة وصوم يوم عرفة كفارة سنتين
Artinya, “Puasa hari Tarwiyah dapat menghapus dosa setahun. Puasa hari Arafah dapat menghapus dosa dua tahun,” (HR Abus Syekh Al-Ishfahani dan Ibnun Najar).
Sebagian ahli hadits mempermasalahkan riwayat hadits tersebut dikarenakan memuat seorang perawi yang bermasalah. Mereka menyimpulkan bahwa hadits tersebut tidak dapat dijadikan sandaran atau hujjah syar’iyyah.
Apabila hadits diatas tidak dapat dijadikan dasar untuk mengamalkan puasa sunnah Tarwiyah dan Arafah, anjuran untuk mengamalkan puasa Tarwiyah dan Arafah dapat ditemukan dari dalil umum sejumlah hadits yang mengajak umat Islam untuk beramal saleh terutama pada 10 hari pertama di bulan Dzulhijjah.
Berikut ini adalah hadits riwayat Ibnu ‘Abbas RA dalam Sunan At-Tirmidzi:
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما من أيام العمل الصالح فيهن أحب إلى الله من هذه الأيام العشر
Artinya, “Rasulullah SAW bersabda, Tiada ada hari lain yang disukai Allah SWT untuk diisi dengan ibadah sebagaimana (kesukaan-Nya pada) sepuluh hari ini,” (HR At-Tirmidzi).
Hadits lainnya pun memperkuat anjuran amalan pada 10 hari pertama Dzulhijjah. Hadits berikut ini menunjukkan keutamaan amalan yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam Bukhari.
عن ابن عباس مرفوعا: “ما من أيام العمل الصالح أحب إلى الله فيهن من هذه الأيام” -يعني عشر ذي الحجة -قالوا: ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله؟ قال: “ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله، إلا رجلا خرج بنفسه وماله، ثم لم يرجع من ذلك بشيء
Artinya, “Dari Ibnu Abbas dengan kualitas hadits marfu’. ‘Tidak ada hari-hari di mana amal saleh lebih disukai Allah pada hari itu dari pada hari-hari ini, maksudnya sepuluh hari Dzulhijjah.’ Kemudian para sahabat bertanya, ‘Bukan pula jihad, ya Rasulullah?’ Rasul menjawab, ‘Tidak pula jihad di jalan Allah kecuali seorang lelaki yang keluar membawa diri dan hartanya kemudian ia pulang tanpa membawa apa-apa lagi,’” (HR Bukhari).
Terlepas dari hadits-hadits tersebut, puasa Tarwiyah dan Arafah bisa dikatakan sebagai tradisi umat Islam di seluruh dunia yang seperti ‘diwajibkan’, mengingat puasa ini hanya dapat dilaksanakan setahun sekali di bulan ini. Wallahu a’lam.
