Moderatpers.com – UKM FUM UNHASY atau Ukm Forum Unhasy Menulis Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari resmi berdiri pada Rabu, (4/10/2017) dibawah naungan rekorat UNHASY dengan nomer legalitas 1348/Kep/UNHASY/A/XI/2015 UKM FUM UNHASY sebagai media informasi mahasiswa, tidak hanya sebagai pemberi informasi tetapi juga berperan sebagai wadah dari hasil.karya mahasiswa Unhasy. Tujuan berdirinya UKM FUM UNHASY melaksanakan anjuran yang telah ditetapkan Allah menyampaikan pengetahuan meskipun itu sedikit, selain itu juga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa berfikir mahasiswa, mengingat betapa pentingnya pengetahuan maupun informasi dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan belajar.

Pengetahuan akan bertambah luas dengan membaca, dan akan punah ketika tidak lagi lahir ilmuan yang dapat menulis, dua hal tersebutlah yang akan mempengaruhi kemajuan bangsa. Sebagian besar ilmu pengetahuan memang disampaikan melalui lisan, namun ilmu pengetahuan akan bertahan lama dengan dicatat, karena berfungsi sebagai pengingat ilmu.

Sesuai dengan visi UKM FUM yakni sebagai media aspirasi mahasiswa dan misi UKM FUM yang pertama mewujudkan kesadaran mahasiswa berfikir obyektif, kreatif, dan kritis terhadap problematika yang dihadapi, kedua menciptakan forum literasi guna membentuk pola pikir baru yang terbuka, tanpa meninggalkan gagasan lama yang baik.

Membaca atau menulis tidak melulu dikaitkan dengan buku pengehauan, namun juga dapat dikaitkan dengan surat kabar, majalah, dongeng, cerpen, puisi, dan lain lain. UKM FUM UNHASY berdiri sebagai wadah mahasiswa UNHASY untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan menghasilkan karya sehingga dapat bermanfaat bagi sekitarnya. Baik dalam hal karya ilmiyah, jurnalistik, maupun sastra. Kecerdasan seseorang tidak bisa datang begitu saja tapi perlu dibangun melalui kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang mampu merangsang kecerdasan seseorang, salah satunya adalah pembiasaan kegiatan baca tulis, yang dalam hal ini bisa dibangun melalui Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Forum Unhasy Menulis Dengan adanya UKM FUM diharapkan dapat dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam mengasah kreatifitas dan bakat seseorang, khususnya dalam bidang tulis menulis.

Atas dasar pemikiran inilah, kami UKM FUM Forum Unhasy Menulis mengadakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang berbasis tulis menulis yang bertujuan membangun wawasan yang luas dan berkualitas, agar mahasiswa mahasiswi Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari dapat mempelajari lebih mendalam kemampunnya, dan dapat menyalurkan bakat minatnya yang dimiliki.
