ModeratPers – Mendekati berakhirnya periode kepemimpinan Mundjidah Wahab dan Sumrambah sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Jombang, mahasiswa aliansi cipayung gelar aksi demo untuk menagih janji politiknya. Demo ini berlangsung di depan kantor Bupati Jombang pada Senin (20/03).
Aliansi ini terdiri dari organisasi Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII), Himpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia (HMI), dan Gerakan Mahasiswa Nasional Indonesia (GMNI) cabang Jombang. Mereka berkumpul dari Ringin Contong pada jam 10.40 siang.
Mereka menuntut 9 janji politik yang pernah disampaikan pada masa kampanye. selama lima tahun menjabat, Bupati dan wakilnya dianggap gagal merealisasikan janji – janji tersebut.
“Seperti Infrastruktur yang belum merata, banyaknya akses jalan yang rusak, mengapa justru memprioritaskan keperluan yang tidak terlalu mendesak seperti memperindah kawasan alun-alun,” Ucap Rizal Abdillah, ketua PC PMII Jombang saat diwawancarai.
Selain merealisasikan sembilan janji politik, para demonstran juga menuntut keterbukaan terkait informasi publik dan transparansi pembangunan yang dilakukan pemerintah Jombang.
Mereka juga meminta agar organisasi kemahasiswaan dilibatkan dalam forum yang dilaksanakan pemerintah kabupaten Jombang untuk memberi saran maupun masukan.
“Dalam beberapa forum yang diadakan pemerintah, beberapa kali mereka melibatkan organisasi seperti OSIS, tetapi tidak melibatkan kami (organisasi kemahasiswaan),” sambung Rizal.
Berlangsungnya demo sempat diwarnai kericuhan, aksi saling dorong antara mahasiswa dan aparat kepolisian sempat terjadi lantaran mahasiswa mendesak ingin masuk ke pendopo Jombang untuk menemui Bupati secara langsung. Beruntungnya, tak ada korban yeng terluka dalam insiden tersebut.
Kericuhan sempat mereda saat asisten pribadi Bupati dan ketua Bappeda Jombang keluar dari pendopo. Mereka mewakili Bupati yang berhalangan tidak bisa menemui demonstran secara langsung.
“Segala program kegiatan yang dilakukan selama 5 tahun semuanya bermuara dari visi dan misi Bupati , semua usulan, masukan, aspirasi, keluhan, dan apapun itu semuanya kami siap menampung,” terang Danang Praptoko, Kepala Bappeda Jombang.
Setelah aspirasi para demonstran diterima. Mereka kembali melayangkan peringatan kepada pihak pemerintah. Jika tidak ada respons terhadap segala tuntutat dalam 4×24 jam, maka mereka akan kembali menggelar aksi dengan massa yang lebih banyak.
