Möderatpers.com – Jumat, (27/08), Himpunan Mahasiswa Prodi Teknik Informatika Fakultas Teknologi Informasi (HMP TI FTI) Unhasy menyelenggarakan kegiatan Webinar Nasional dengan tema “Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Tentang Teknologi Jaringan Komputer Di Era Pandemi”. Webinar ini dipersembahkan untuk merayakan dies natalis FTI yang ke-VII. Acara berlangsung secara daring melalui platform zoom teleconference meeting, dan dimulai dari pukul 13.30 s/d 15.00 WIB.

Webinar ini dipandu oleh Falah Andika Dwi Irawan (moderator) dan narasumber tunggal, yakni Arief Wahyudin, sosok yang menempati posisi CEO & Founder CV. Atswa Indonesia (yang umumnya dikenal sebagai lembaga training yang menyediakan banyak layanan dalam masalah komputer dan jejaring internet). Sebelum acara inti terlaksana, nyanyian untuk negeri Indonesia, yakni Indonesia Raya juga dikumandangkan. Kemudian disambut oleh Aries Dwi Indriyani, S.Kom.,M.Kom. sebagai Kaprodi Teknik Informatika FTI.

“Teknologi komputer sedang berada dalam masa puncaknya. Dimana semua hal sedang sangat membutuhkan komputer dan teknologi jaringan, dan semua konsep pembelajaran tidak luput dari jejaring internet. Mahasiswa harus memiliki pengetahuan yang mumpuni untuk bisa menyambut teknologi yang semakin maju.” Tutur Ibu Aries dalam sambutannya.

Sementara itu, di awal materi, Arief menjelaskan bahwa dampak positif dari pandemi ini adalah semakin meningkatnya adaptasi masyarakat terhadap sistem dan teknologi digital. “Menteri pendidikan, kebudayaan, riset, dan teknologi (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Makarim mengatakan bahwa pandemi mempercepat adaptasi terhadap sistem dan teknologi digital. Sebab, sebagian besar pembelajaran dilakukan secara jarak jauh atau daring, sehingga para guru dan murid terpacu untuk menguasai teknologi.” Jelasnya.

Meskipun tengah dilanda pandemi, dalam penjelasan Arief, semua hal termasuk perekonomian tetap harus berjalan ditengah keterbatasan gerak masyarakat. Pada masa pandemi ini, semua orang membutuhkan internet, membutuhkan ilmu, membutuhkan komputer atau alat komunikasi sebagai sarana belajar dan membutuhkan biaya untuk tetap bertahan hidup. Banyak yang bisa dijadikan peluang untuk dijadikan usaha, salah satunya adalah komputer dan jejaring internet. Ini adalah jenis kebutuhan yang bisa dijadikan peluang. Contoh konkritnya, siapapun bisa mencoba usaha RT RW NET. Istilah tersebut merujuk pada bisnis internet wifi rumahan yang dapat digunakan sebagai ladang usaha. Untuk menjalankan bisnis ini, seseorang tetap membutuhkan skill, niat yang kokoh, menentukan sasaran atau yang lebih sering disebut target pasar dan terus berusaha meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengelola bisnis jejaring internet.

Contoh lainnya, siapapun juga bisa mencoba bisnis yang melalui internet dengan cara berbeda, yakni menjadi penulis buku atau blok, menjadi jasa perbaikan dan perawatan jaringan (karena terkadang di setiap daerah memiliki tingkat kekuatan jaringan yang berbeda dan masalah yang berbeda), atau jasa pelatihan atau entri data. Dan dalam semua hal ini masing-masing mebutuhkan skill dan usaha yang besar. Caranya adalah dengan Reskilling (pelatihan kemampuan) dan Upskilling (peningkatan kemampuan).
