UNHASY Gelar Seminar International Bertema Actualizing ‘Rahmatan Lil ’Alamin’

ModeratPers – Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) bersama Institut Leimena Jakarta adakan Seminar Internasional dan Call For Paper bertema “Actualizing ‘Rahmatan Lil ’Alamin’ Through Cross-Cultur Religious Literacy Forum”. Seminar digelar di Gedung Yusuf Hasyim Tebuireng pada Sabtu (18/11).

Seminar ini menghadirkan empat narasumber yakni Prof. DR.H.Haris Supratno (Indonesia), Prof.DR. W.Cole Durham, JR (USA), Prof. DR. Sulaiman Hasan Sulaiman (Libya), dan Prof. Dr. Faisal Mahmoud Adam Ibrahim (Sudan).

Selain itu, dalam acara ini turut mengundang pengasuh pondok pesantren Tebuireng, KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz dan Kepala Badan Wakaf Pesantren Tebuireng KH. Abdul Halim Mahfudz. Kegiatan dihadiri oleh dosen, para dekan, wakil rektor, dan mahasiswa UNHASY.

Diadakannya seminar ini merupakan bentuk realisasi untuk mewujudkan Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Para peserta, khusunya mahasiswa diberi edukasi tentang literasi keagamaan lintas budaya.

“Kegiatan ini pertama kali ada di pesantren yang membahas rahmatan lil ‘alamin, ada pesantren yang membahas literasi keagamaan lintas budaya. Kemudian menjadi pesantren pertama yang ingin actualizing mewujudkan rahmatan lil ‘alamin”, ucap Abdul Halim Mahfud dalam sambutanya.

Literasi keagamaan lintas budaya adalah pendekatan dalam berpikir dan bertindak untuk dapat bekerjasama dengan orang yang berbeda keyakinan dengan menjunjung tinggi sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati antar manusia.

Melalui pendekatan ini, manusia diajarkan bagaimana untuk dapat menikmati rahmat Allah SWT berupa alam semesta, binatang-binatang, tumbuhan dan seluruh Ciptaan-nya.

“ Mudah-mudahan setelah ini kita dapat mewujudkan kegiatan lain untuk mengamalkan perintah Allah rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin”, sambungnya.

Dalam kesempatan ini, rektor UNHASY menjelaskan tentang Indonesia sebagai bangsa yang kaya budaya. Nilai-nilai budaya yang ada di Indonesia merupakan bagian dari aktualisasi rahmatan lil ‘alamin.

Ia juga berharap kedepannya seluruh pemaparan oleh pemateri dapat ditindaklanjuti dalam segala bentuk kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk merealisasikan rahmatan lil ‘alamin.

“Mudah-mudahan ini bukan kegiatan pertama, tapi nanti akan ditindaklanjuti dalam bentuk-bentuk kegiatan lainnya demi kemaslahatan umat. Kami siap untuk mendukung merealisasikan demi masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya”, kata Haris.
