moderatpers – Setelah sempat vakum selama tiga tahun imbas dari pandemi covid-19, pagelaran Duta Kampus Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) akhirnya kembali diselenggarakan. Grand Final dilaksanakan di komplek gedung C pada Sabtu (04/03).
Di Ikuti oleh tujuh pasang finalis, kegatan ini merupakan salah satu agenda Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) UNHASY yang bertujuan untuk ajang promosi kampus dan pencarian bakat mahasiswa yang berwawasan luas, kreatif, dan inovatif.
“Kami berinisiatif untuk membangun kembali duta kampus UNHASY agar mampu bersaing dengan kampus – kampus lain diluar sana,” Ujar Mahbub selaku ketua BEM dalam sambutannya.
Dalam ajang ini, para finalis telah menjalani berbagai proses mulai dari tes, karantina, hingga berbagai pembinaan. Tak hanya cerdas dan berbakat, Duta Kampus UNHASY juga menjadi ikon kampus yang mencerminkan kepribadian berlandaskan ahlussunnah wal jama’ah.
Finalis terpilih dalam ajang ini akan menjadi delegasi kampus yang akan di ikut sertakan dalam pemilihan mahasiswa berprestasi oleh Pusat Prestasi Nasional (PUSPRESNAS). Hal ini disampaikan oleh Wakil Rektor III UNHASY, Elisa Nurul Laili.
“Setelah mendapat gambarannya (Duta Kampus) dari BEM, nanti bisa masuk mewakili kampus untuk pemilihan mahasiswa berprestasi yang diselenggarakan PUSPRESNAS yang seleksinya mulai dari tahap kampus, daerah, hingga nasional,” ucap wakil rektor III yang akrap disapa miss Elisa.
Dengan mengikuti ajang ini, akan ada banyak manfaat yang akan didapatkan oleh para peserta, mulai dari relasi hingga peningkatan soft skill. Pada saat pembinaan, para peserta dibimbing oleh para tutor yang sudah sangat berpengalaman di bidang pengembangan bakat.
Tak hanya itu, ajang ini juga melatih kepercayaan diri dalam mengeksplor bakat dalam diri mahasiswa. Kemampuan dalam public speaking juga akan lebih terasah.
Grand Final Duta Kampus juga dimeriahkan oleh berbagai penampilan dari beberapa Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) UNHASY seperti Teater, puisi, dan akustik. Selain mahasiswa dan jajaran petinggi kampus, ajang Duta Kampus UNHASY juga dihadiri oleh guk dan yuk Jombang untuk memberi masukan dan motivasi bagi para finalis.
