Moderatpers – Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (DPM-U) kembali menyelenggarakan Kongres Mahasiswa dengan mengusung tema “Revitalisasi Peran Mahasiswa dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas LKM Unhasy yang Berkarakter dan Bermartabat”, pada Kamis (07/11) di Aula Gedung A Lt. 3 Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari.
Kongres Mahasiswa dilangsungkan selama dua hari, dimulai pada Kamis (07/11) pukul 10.00 WIB sampai Jumat (08/11) pukul 14.11 WIB. Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh total 46 peserta kongres, dengan rincian 43 peserta aktif dari perwakilan Ormawa dan 3 peserta peninjau dari perwakilan UKM dan demisioner.
Pelaksanaan di hari pertama dibuka oleh Warek III Bidang Kemahasiswaan Unhasy dan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan sidang yang dipimpin oleh Pimpinan Sidang Sementara. Kemudian sidang dilanjutkan setelah Pimpinan Sidang Tetap dipilih oleh kuorum hingga berakhirnya kegiatan.
Namun, pelaksanaan sidang dinilai kurang maksimal sebab di tengah-tengah kegiatan banyak dari peserta kongres yang tidak hadir kembali di persidangan.
“Acara di dua hari ini (masih) belum maksimal Karena banyak yang harus diubah. Tapi untuk melihat waktu dan sikon ya itu kurang, karena partisipan menghilang sedikit-sedikit”, jawab Lucky Ammar Permadi selaku Ketua (PLT) DPM-U Unhasy sekaligus Ketua Pelaksana saat diwawancarai.
Kongres Mahasiswa merupakan acuan bagi Ormawa dan UKM di Unhasy. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya pembahasan terkait AD/ART (Anggaran Dasar/Anggaran Rumah Tangga) dan GBHO (Garis Besar Haluan Organisasi) di dalam kongres.
“Pembahasannya ada AD/ART ataupun GBHO dan sebagainya. Yang mana itu harus dilaksanakan dan diselenggarakan sebelum KPUM. Yang mana nanti (jadi) acuan-acuan atas kinerja dari Ormawa-ormawa dan UKM di Unhasy”, terang Lucky.
Wakil Rektor III Bidang Kemahasiswaan Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari, Chamdan Mashuri memberikan apresiasi atas terselenggaranya kongres mahasiswa di tengah-tengah penurunan minat organisasi yang melanda dunia perkuliahan akhir-akhir ini.
“Meskipun dengan dinamika yang saat ini, degradasi organisasi itu di mana-mana itu terjadi tidak hanya di Unhasy, tapi Ormawa Unhasy masih tetap semangat masih tetap aktif dan hidup”, tuturnya.
Selain penurunan antusiasme mahasiswa dalam berorganisasi, Chamdan juga menuturkan bahwa pelaksanaan kongres dinilai sangat penting dalam menentukan kualifikasi pemimpin Ormawa Unhasy.
“Nah, kongres ini kan salah satu bentuk membuat aturan-aturan atau kualitas/mutu kompetensi leader yang akan datang di pemilihan yang akan datang,” jelasnya.
Ia juga menambahkan bahwa aturan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi kemajuan kampus. “Dan dari sini menghasilkan aturan-aturan yang ke depannya menambah kemajuan Ormawa dan kemajuan Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari”, tukas Chamdan selaku Warek III Unhasy.
Di satu sisi, salah satu peserta kongres yaitu, Ahmad Alfayum (HK) sangat menyayangkan atas ketidakhadiran ketua dan beberapa anggota DPM-U selaku penyelenggara kongres. Ia menilai bahwa hal tersebut adalah salah satu kecacatan yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan kongres tahun ini.
“Untuk pelaksanaan sendiri memang dari beberapa DPM tidak hadir, ketuanya terutama. Jadi ada cacatnya disitu untuk pelaksanaan (kongres) hari ini”, ucapnya.
