Dalam rangka Pelatihan Tingkat Lanjut (PTL), Barisan Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (Bimapala Unhasy) menggelar pelepasan peserta pada Kamis, 22 Juni, dengan mengusung tema mengusung tema Athena Aphrodite Artemis.
Merujuk jadwal acara yang disusun, pelepasan peserta dimulai seharusnya dimulai pukul 15.00 WIB di Aula lantai 3 gedung A Unhasy. Namun, acara tersebut mengalami kemoloran waktu sehingga acara baru bisa dimulai pukul 15.30 WIB dan bergeser tempat ke Lobi Gedung A Unhasy.
Sebanyak 7 peserta PTL yang secara resmi dilepaskan dengan disaksikan langsung oleh Pembina UKM Bimapala UNHASY serta beberapa Ormawa dan UKM lain yang turut menghadiri acara tersebut.
Pelepasan tersebut menandakan bahwa peserta PTL siap melaksanakan Ekspedisi Pulau Jawa yang rencananya akan dilaksanakan ke tiga Provinsi yakni Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Barat oleh 3 Tim yang telah dibentuk.
Dalam acara ini Syai’in selaku Pembina UKM Bimapala memberi pesan kepada peserta untuk tetap menjaga etika serta nama baik Bimapala Unhasy selama kegiatan berlangsung. Selain itu juga para peserta PTL diminta agar bersungguh-sungguh dalam menjalani kegiatan ini. karena PTL ini merupakan syarat diterimanya anggota muda menjadi anggota penuh atau anggota tetap.
Dijadwalkan ekspedisi ini akan mulai berangkat pada Jum’at, 23 juni, oleh Tim Lingkungan Hidup dengan 1 peserta menuju Gunung Argapura di wilayah Jawa Timur, Tim Gunung Hutan dengan 4 peserta menuju Gunung Ciremai di wilayah Jawa Barat, dan Tim Panjat Tebing dengan 2 peserta menuju Tebing TWKM di wilayah Jawa Tengah pada sabtu lusa. Dengan ketentuan tiap tim didampingi oleh 2 orang anggota penuh Bimapala.
“Tolong nanti dijaga etikanya karena kita kan bertamu, kemudian kita juga membawa nama Unhasy, trus yang sungguh-sungguh jangan ada yang sampai tidak lolos pelatihan ini,” terangnya selaku Pembina UKM Bimapala.
Tujuan kegiatan ekspedisi ini adalah agar PTL di Bimapala dapat mempraktikkan ilmu yang sebelumnya telah diajarkan di kelas Basic Development (BD) dan Kenal Medan (KM).
“Dengan adanya kegiatan ini dan sebelumnya juga ada BD dan KM, diharapkan teman-teman bisa mempraktikkan ilmunya langsung di lapangan serta kita bisa lebih cerdas dalam mencintai alam,” ujar Nadia Al Muflihah selaku ketua pelaksana.
