Galeri Investasi Bursa Efek Indonesia (GI BEI) Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) Universitas Hasyim Asyari (Unhasy) menggelar kompetisi Stocklab yang diikuti oleh seratus peserta dari berbagai kampus, termasuk mahasiswa dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), UIN Satu Tulungagung, IAIN Kediri, UNP Kediri, ITBIS Dewantara Jombang, dan UNIPDU. Acara berlangsung pada Minggu (23/02) di Gedung A, lantai 3 Unhasy.
Dengan mengusung tema “Beyond Your Limit: Redefining in the Digital Era” kompetisi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam investasi serta memperkenalkan dunia pasar modal kepada masyarakat luas.
Ketua pelaksana M. Dimas Rofiudain, menjelaskan bahwa tema tersebut diambil untuk menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat. “Untuk tema ini, kita tentang reformasi menuju ke digital. Semua serba digital, jadi kita mengambil tema strategi di era digital juga,” ujarnya.
Kompetisi Stocklab 2025 merupakan penyelenggaraan ketiga dalam rangka peringatan tahunan. Latar belakang diadakannya kompetisi ini untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mahasiswa serta mengenalkan investasi kepada masyarakat yang belum memahami pasar modal. “Latar belakang diadakannya kompetisi ini untuk mengembangkan skill universitas, teruntuk juga masyarakat yang belum mengenal investasi,” tambahnya.
Dalam kompetisi ini, peserta menggunakan kartu simulasi saham untuk merasakan pengalaman berinvestasi di sektor pasar modal. Melalui metode ini, mereka dapat memahami mekanisme jual beli saham dengan lebih interaktif. “Perlombaan memakai kartu simulasi saham, jadi jual beli saham sektor dan itu semua seperti simulasi kita di pasar modal,” jelas Dimas.
Salah satu peserta Muhammad Dimas Habbi mengungkapkan kesan dan tujuan keikutsertaannya pada kompetisi ini untuk menambah wawasan tentang pemasaran saham, mengingat peminat investasi di kampusnya masih terbatas. “Bagus sih, juga buat investor pemula seperti saya. Materi yang disampaikan oleh Pak Fajar tadi sangat menarik. Semoga ke depannya materinya bisa lebih baik lagi,” ungkapnya.
