Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asyari (BEM UNHASY) mengadakan seminar personal branding pada Sabtu, 29 Juni 2024 pukul 08.00 WIB di aula lantai 3 gedung A Unhasy.
Mengambil tema “Upgrade Your Creativity To Become Content Creator” menghadirkan pemateri Putri Aqilla Ramadhani, seorang pelaku content creator. Seminar ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi para mahasiswa membangun personal branding melalui sosial media.
Acara dibuka untuk umum serta turut mengundang mahasiswa dari BEM Fakultas, Himpunan mahasiswa prodi (HMP), dan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM). Meski mengalami beberapa kendala acara dinilai berjalan dengan lancar.
“Alhamdulillah acaranya berjalan dengan lancar walaupun kendalanya ada di waktu yang aslinya jam 08.00 molor sampai jam 09.00 lebih tetapi alhamdulillah temen – temen mashasiswa bisa dikondisikan dengan baik,” ungkap azizah selaku ketua pelaksana.
Pentingnya personal branding memiliki peran dalam membentuk kacamata publik pada seseorang. Personal branding sendiri merupakan proses pembentukan persepsi masyarakat atau publik terhadap aspek yang dimiliki sesorang. Aspek ini meliputi kepribadian, kemampuan, nilai, serta persepsi posistif yang ditimbulkan atau ada dalam diri individu.
“Dengan Personal branding kita bisa lebih maksimal nunjukin nilai ataupun value yang kita miliki, agar mampu bersaing dengan content creator yang lainnya. Mulai membangun personal branding dengan menunjukkan siapa kita dan hal-hal apa yang kita sukai agar menjadi ciri khas khusus bagi orang orang untuk mengenal kita,” tutur pemateri.
Dengan diadakan seminar ini harapannya dapat meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa sehingga mampu dan aktif memberikan konten-konten yang berkualitas di era yang serba digital saat ini.
Untuk diketahui, Putri Aqilla Ramadhani yang menjadi pembicara utama pada acara ini merupakan alumni Unhasy Program pendidikan komunikasi penyiaran Islam.
